Sugar is a sweetener that has been used by humans since 2000 years ago to change the taste and sifa


In mid-February this year, I participated in industrial visit to Perlis Felda sugar factory in Chuping, Perlis. There, my friends and other students have the opportunity to learn about the process of producing sugar and dialogue related to the sugar industry in Malaysia.
Sugar is a sweetener that has been used by humans since 2000 years ago to change the taste and sifatmakanan and drinks. Sugar cane juice is then evaporated into syrup by heating using steam in a process called evaporation (evaporation). Turning to the sugar business in Malaysia, I got information that there are 4 sugar production plant in Malaysia, CPO (Gula Prai) Sdn Bhd, Central Sugar Refinery Sdn Bhd, Gula Gula Padang Terap Bhd and Felda Perlis Sdn Bhd.
